Hi, how come you are able to use displacement with CUDA? As I understood, CUDA does not support displacement... So I've probably got it wrong, but it doesn't work for me. Displacement under vray setting is checked. Any suggestion? Thanks!
You can render displacement on the GPU of course. Perhaps you have it set to 2D displacement which is not supported on the GPU. Try to switch to 3D or subdivision. I have same in Unity3D at 60 fps, no need render, or scratch my head because of VRay / FP compatibility problems, with SSAO, fog, HDR, and depth of field, light effects, sun shafts. Just a joke to wait hours for almost same and then need post prod, with GB of stored data, burning the farm and server, to achieve what a pro laptop does in realtime. I really miss a software between 3ds & Unity, both use transforms, textures, meshes, keyframes, shaders... really really sad...
The worst thing about V-Ray videos is the English speaker, his English is not clear and sometime you don't understand some words spelling that's because the speaker English is not the mother tongue . come on guys you are a big company in graphic computer industry you should hire someone has good fluent English speaking .

Somehow rendering with GPU is twice slower than CPU, RTX 3060 card here... I have yet to see a vray release where everthing works out of the box...

The Fog is supported on RT CPU since V-Ray 3.2 I think... Latest version supports it nevertheless.
